Truckin

I remember when the T100 came out in '93 - they were pretty smalled compared to my dad's F150.  And you could tell the little V6 wasn't going to handle as much as the V8 in the Ford.  Well they've come a long way - the new 2010 has a 4.6L engine, and the styling is pretty modern too.  You can read more at this review.

Perhaps this should be in Speedhaven, but thought it would be a cool read for Truckin.  They put 40 miles on the record in 2006 - at 193 mph.  Hoping for 200 next time they are on the salt.  I really like articles like this that list a lot of details as to what is under the hood.

Some of you know that I own a '98 SVT Mustang.  It's been one of my daily drivers for probably 8 years now.  I've always like what SVT does when they get their hands on a vehicle and take it a step farther.  From the Mustang to the Contour . . . and now the 310 horsepower F-150 SVT Raptor.  Read up on it - looks like a great truck!
